DRC INSIGHT Installation 2016-17

Installation using Self Service

1. Log in to any user account on the desired Macbook or iMac.

2. Press Command & Space to open a Spotlight search.

3. Type Self Service into the search box.

4. Double click the Self Service app.

  • If Self Service is not present on the computer, see your building technician to have the device enrolled in Casper.

5. Once Self Service is open, locate and click ELL in the Category section on the right side of the window.

6. Click Install on the DRC INSIGHT 7.1.0 option.

7. Read the information in the pop-up that appears, and then click Install.

  • Wait for the installation to complete before moving on.

8. Locate the school that corresponds to the building that this computer belongs to and click Install.

  • Wait for the installation to complete before moving on.

Opening and testing DRC INSIGHT

1. If you are not logged into the Testing Account, log out of the current user and log in to the Testing Account.

  • Testing account password: test

2. Locate the DRC INSIGHT link on the dock and click it to run the software.

  • If the link is not present on the dock, please see your building technician to have it added.

3. Once DRC INSIGHT has loaded, click the check box in the bottom left corner of the screen.

4. Enter the Access Code: 7745

5. At the bottom of the screen, click Execute Tests.

6. When the test completes, make sure that all of the tests have a green checked circle.

  • If any of the tests are yellow or red, please contact your building technician to investigate the issue.

7. Click Exit.

8. You may now begin testing, or close the DRC INSIGHT software by clicking Exit at the bottom right of the screen.
